Meghan Markle is opening her childhood photo album to reveal some of the cutest moments from her early years. It started with a heartwarming black-and-white photo of Meghan with her mother, Doria Ragland, on International Women’s Day. Fans now have a closer look at the girl behind the famous persona thanks to the Duchess of Sussex’s recent release of even more never-before-seen images.
The photograph has the amusing statement, “Being an entrepreneur can start young.” (Incidentally, I’m still selling cookies after all these years!) The images feature a happy little Meghann in a variety of outfits, including a baseball uniform, a white shirt, a red tie, and a matching cap, as well as posing with classmates
Her 2.7 million followers were immediately moved by the picture and were enchanted by “mini Meghan.” Beyond the sweetness, though, one particular feature struck a chord: the opportunity to see her hair in its most gorgeous curly, unfiltered state. The real hair of Markle was exposed. Despite Meghan’s current reputation for having sleek, camera-ready waves, the early pictures capture her hair in its most natural state: full, bouncy curls without any frizz. The pictures provided a unique, genuine glimpse into a part of her that isn’t frequently seen by the public.
She discussed how Jeanette, her maternal grandma, helped her manage her curls in an interview conducted in 2022. Meghan recalls those early haircare rituals vividly, saying, “She would say, ‘Hold on to the sink,’ and I would grip the sides with my little hands.”
